When you buy appliances from the big box stores, or local mom and pop outlets, all of the appliances come from the same distribution center. Costco can consistently beat the “final price” when you take into account delivery, installation, removal, etc. I recently bought a refrigerator and the final price was $100 less than everyone else. Outlets that have price matching policies can’t match this price because a Costco uses a different model number, which is typically the same number with a K added.
