Hi guys, i mealprep but i've been wondering what the correct/safe way to store food is in relation to how quickly i put it in the fridge after cooking.
For instance, i bake some chicken breast that's 3-days worth and put it into glass tupperware. I've been letting it cool down for maybe an hour to get closer to room temperature before i put it in the refrigerator.
Will bacteria and such grow, is it a health risk, should i be putting the baked chicken away immediately in the fridge instead of letting it cool down, what SHOULD i be doing?
