My washing machine and ice maker for my refrigerator run (presumably) off of the same water supply (I live in a townhouse and the refrigerator and washing machine back up to each other separated by a wall).
Tonight, the ice maker started spewing water all over from the fill hose inside the fridge. After turning the shut off valve to off behind the fridge, I then put the towels used to mop up the water in the washing machine to clean them. Upon turning on the washing machine, it also began to pour water from the bottom of the machine. What gives?
