I tried something this last racking day. I bottled the watered down yeast cake in a plastic bottle that I had previously washed and sterilized. After about 1 day in the refrigerator all 3 phases were well defined. I left a nail on the burner for a little while and used it, while hot, to pierce the bottler right in the yeast phase, it dripped slowly (I had also wiped the hole location witch alcohol) into a clean container.
I squeezed the bottle to hurry the process, I filled the rest of the head space with the watered down beer, closed and stored in the refrigerator.
How bad would be this yeast?
