Is it damaging to put electronics in the refrigerator for hours at a time? NoStupidQuestions

I take my Nintendo 3ds to work with me, but I don't want to carry it around so I stick it in my lunchbox, which goes in the refrigerator in the break room. When I get it out, it's cold but it works without any issues. Am I damaging it without realizing it?
