I am considering buying a heavy side-by-side refrigerator. It weighs approx 280 KG fully loaded. It is 90 cm by 60 cm, with four 'legs'. So, 4 point loads. I am putting it on a second floor. The floor is a 7,5 cm poured concrete reinforced slab. The slab is tied into joists, and one side of the fridge is very close to the joist.
I am sure that it won't go through the floor, but is it likely that there be any deflection that causes cracks on the ceiling below ? Thanks ! .michael
