Had the car for about 8 months now no issues other than low freon. Battery was replaced may 2014.
While driving the other night the gauges were registering zero and the the turn signal was barely registering. This seems more prevalent while coasting or idling. Upon acceleration everything comes back on. I noticed while coasting/idling the AC is much more weak than when accelerating as well.
My first thought was the alternator, but could it be just an idle pulley? Belt looks to be in good condition with no noticeable slipping. Battery terminals are clean.
Should I just go ahead with an alternator? Idle Pulley? Both?
