Ok so I just opened a bottle after my second ferment and before I transfer them into the refrigerator. The thing exploded upon opening and just ejected the entire bottle 3 feet into the air. My question is, will putting the bottles in the fridge relieve the pressure at all? I know it will stop the fermentation from carbonating any further. But am I going to have all of these bottles explode on me?
Any experience here?
Also, if they all will be extremely pressurized, should I just open into a huge container and catch all of it and then re-bottle?
Thanks!
