How long can I keep a bottle of stout in the refrigerator opened but capped to use for cooking? beer

I need a 1/4 cup of stout for a chicken recipe. I don't drink and don't want to waste $5-6 bucks every time I make this recipe. If I buy a bottle, how long will it keep (if I don't care about the bubbles) in the fridge to use for cooking? Thanks for your thoughts.
