Have some questions about pickling brine. Cooking

I was inspired to do some pickling after a wonderful sampling at a gastropub this weekend.

Looking for a brine recipe used for refrigerator pickling. I would like to make 1 brine to use in four different recipes, these are.

  • Spicy pickles
  • Bratwurst relish
  • Vietnamese style for bahn mi
  • Italian sandwich toppings.

Any suggestions or tips?
