This is a confusing question for sure because the story takes on the dynasty theme with magi, yokai, mana, lifeforce, temples, and stuff like that but in some pictures and videos you have things like refrigerators and aya with her camera and modern day stuff and cars and grocery markets like stuff you'd see in 2014 so like when does it take place
