Refrigerator and Freezer won't cool. fixit

Style is bottom freezer with side by side top. Model is Kenmore Elite 795.72043.110.

We first discovered the problem last night. Icemaker had some ice and some water in it when we went to dispense. Fast forward a little while and everything in it feel warmer, and the stuff in the freezer is definitely starting to thaw.

The compressor seems to be running fine; it's warm to the touch, but not blistering hot. I can touch it for a few seconds before it gets uncomfortable.

The fan between the compressor and the condenser is running fine.

There was some minor dust and debris on the condenser, which I vacuumed and blew off with some compressed air. No change so far. That's the most recent thing I've tried.

I have not been able to access the evaporator(s) yet. According to the literature I've found for the unit it looks like there is a separate evaporator for the top and bottom, and it seems unlikely they would both go on the fritz at the same time (which I'm assuming would need to happen for both sections to stop cooling), but I'm going to continue looking into them.

We scheduled a service technician, but they can't come until Wednesday. I would really love to get this resolved before then for obvious reasons. Any suggestions on what to try next?

Edit 1: Display on the door reads the temperatures that we set it at (0 and 37). Not sure if that changes based on the actual temperature inside, or is just for setting the desired temp, though.
