TIFU by getting egg in my face tifu

I didn't want an extra pan to wash, so I decided to microwave my breakfast. I had done this dozens of times in HS and college so no big deal, right?

NO. WRONG!

Approximately 1 second after removing the dish from the microwave, my egg exploded in my face. Like yolk directly applied to the eyes. Egg on every surface - ceiling, top of refrigerator, my hair...eww. Turns out I used a cup that was too small. Luckily I didn't burn my face too badly & my breakfast was slightly edible, yet smaller than anticipated.

Tl;dr Boiling egg napalm applied directly to the retinas.
